Uptime monitoring is the continuous process of checking whether your website, API, or service is accessible and responding correctly. is0k sends periodic requests to your URLs from multiple regions and alerts you immediately if something fails or becomes slow.

Check frequency depends on your plan. The free Starter plan checks every 5 minutes. Hobby checks every 3 minutes, Pro every 1 minute, Business every 30 seconds, and Enterprise every 10 seconds. More frequent checks mean faster detection of outages.

is0k supports HTTP/HTTPS (with status code validation, body keyword matching, and custom headers), TCP port connectivity, ICMP Ping with packet loss measurement, DNS resolution time and record validation, and SSL/TLS certificate expiry monitoring.

Alert delivery typically takes under 30 seconds from when the failure is detected. Most outages are detected within your check interval (as low as 10 seconds on Enterprise). We also use configurable retry thresholds to avoid false positives from transient issues.

You can receive alerts via Email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, custom Webhooks (with HMAC-SHA256 signatures), and SMS (on paid plans). You can configure multiple channels and link different channels to different monitors.

A status page is a public (or private) webpage showing the current status of your services. Your customers can visit it to check for outages without contacting support. is0k generates status pages with 90-day uptime history bars, response time charts, and an incident timeline. You can customize the branding, colors, logo, and even use your own domain.

Yes, custom domains are available on the Pro plan and above. You point your domain's CNAME record to is0k and we handle SSL automatically. For example, you can host your status page at status.yourcompany.com.

Yes! The Starter plan is completely free, forever. You get 5 monitors with 5-minute check intervals, 1 email alert channel, and 1 status page. No credit card required to get started. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.

We'll notify you when you're approaching your limits. If you exceed them, we won't automatically delete your monitors — instead, we'll prompt you to upgrade your plan. You have full control over your data at all times.

You can cancel anytime from the Billing page in your dashboard. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, then automatically downgrades to the free Starter plan. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation.
